Nadya: Ten surprises and one certitude: a somewhat queer journey into motherhood.
Nadya is a new(ish) mamma, an incorrigable dreamer, an adventurer, a Siciliaphile and a forensic clinical psychologist. She recently returned home, from London, where she spent 8 years living, travelling, working and studying further in her field.
Nadya invites us to hear her reflections on her journey to becoming a gay mother. How she navigated the secret worlds of fertility clinics and petri-dishes, where biology and hope danced cheek to cheek under the watchful gaze of Moroccan ancestors, and pronouncements were both defied and realised.
