Paul Shrell-Fox
Rabbi Paul Shrell-Fox, PhD lectures at The Schechter Institutes and Efrata Academic College. His area of research and teaching are informed by an evolutionary understanding of human behavior. As is his understanding of Jewish communal life and practice. He lives in Jerusalem with his wife, Saralee, and their five children.

Religion and Science previously walked hand in hand. Leading scientists were leading theologians. Galileo initiated the schism and Darwin drove it home. But it needn’t be so. Rav Kook teaches that Dennett & Dawkins should not panic modern-day religious scholars. Evolution is OK and can help us develop a mature perspective on the “holy”.
